Clouds over Trettach and Mädelegabel

Above the Fellhorn, a vast sky opens up, a blue that rests over the Allgäu Alps like a quiet breath. The peaks of the main ridge rise from it like ancient storytellers: the Trettachspitze, sharp and bold; the Mädelegabel, with its jagged flanks; the Bockkarkopf, dark and solemn; and the Hochfrottspitze, standing over the valley like a silent sentinel. In this panorama, every mountain seems to speak its own word, to carry its own weight, and yet they come together to form a single, mighty sentence of stone and time.
The clouds drift slowly over the ridges, brushing the heights like wandering thoughts that cannot be held fast. Between light and shadow, the green of the slopes glows, a late-summer radiance that holds its own against the rugged rocks. Up here, in the Allgäu, in Bavaria, in this quiet corner of Europe, the world feels vast and yet intimate. You can sense how the wind carries stories, how the mountains preserve memories, how the sky opens up to those who are ready, for just a moment, simply to look, to breathe, to be.
