My journey into photography began in my teenage years, driven by curiosity and a deep fascination with capturing the world around me. After three intensive years at the Dutch Photography Academy in Amsterdam, I earned my diploma as a Professional Photographer, laying the foundation for a career that now spans over 24 years.
Throughout the years, I've explored many facets of photography, from portraits to stills, but my heart truly belongs to landscapes, especially those of Scandinavia. Norway has captured my soul; its rugged mountains, quiet fjords and the magical sceneries are an endless source of inspiration. I travel there several times a year on photography trips, always seeking new perspectives and moments of stillness.
To feel even more connected to the country that means so much to me, I've started learning the Norwegian language. It's a personal step toward deeper integration with the culture and nature I hold dear.
Beyond my love for the north, I have a special bond with autumn. The rich colours, the play of light and shadow, and the melancholic atmosphere form the perfect backdrop for blending emotion and beauty in my work.
