The Gentle Radiance of the Dharma

Like a silent wheel of light, the golden swastika rests in the sky above Bangkok, supported by lotus leaves that resemble rising thoughts. Its radiance is not loud, but a gentle pulsation – an echo of the ancient paths that speak of harmony and inner clarity. In its rotation there is neither beginning nor end, only the calm breath of the universe, expanding in all directions.
This symbol, as old as humanity’s first steps, stands here as a sign of blessing. It serves as a reminder that happiness is not seized, but recognised; that protection does not come from without, but from one’s own awakening. The golden patina, weathered by the elements, speaks of time, of change, of the beauty of transience. And yet the form remains unshakeable – a silent guardian over the temple, a reminder of the Buddha’s teachings, which flow like a river through the centuries.
Those who stand beneath it may, for a moment, sense the vastness of the sky and the depth of their own hearts. A balance, a gentle blessing, a silent promise.
