Spring at Lake Forggensee

The meadow begins to speak even before your gaze reaches the lake. The flowers glow yellow, as if they had summoned spring and were now holding it captive. A gentle breeze blows through the grass, carrying the scent of new beginnings and timelessness at the same time. Lake Forggen lies calm and vast behind it, a mirror that reflects the sky and mountains alike, without judgement.
Tegelberg and Säuling rise like two old storytellers. Their flanks are dark and serious, but not forbidding. They watch over the valley, over water and paths, over what comes and goes. In between, almost like a thought from another world, lies Neuschwanstein Castle. Not intrusive, more dreamlike. A building between imagination and reality, created out of longing, remaining as a symbol.
Many things intersect here: nature and history, movement and stillness. The Romantic Road is not just a path of stone and asphalt, but an invisible ribbon of stories, views and memories. Standing here, you can feel how big the world can be without being loud.
The light is soft, the moment vast. And somewhere between meadow, lake and mountain, you get the feeling that beauty doesn't need to explain itself. It's just there.
