About ‘Lake Gerold’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

A golden October day greets us with bright sunshine and an air that smells of autumn. The picturesque Lake Geroldsee stretches out before us, a mirror of nature that reflects the deep blue of the sky and the bright colours of the autumn trees. The water glistens in the sun as if it contains a thousand tiny diamonds. Gentle waves dance in the light breeze and let the light flit across the surface in a sparkling play.
The Karwendel mountains rise majestically in the background, their rugged peaks forming a stark contrast to the peaceful scene of the lake. The mountain ridges are already covered with a first layer of snow, glistening in the sunlight and hinting at the impending winter. The clear air makes every detail of the mountain landscape visible, as if an artist had carefully painted each rock formation and shadow line.
On the shore of the lake, the last colourful leaves on the trees sway in time with the wind, as if saying goodbye to summer with a final dance. The grass is still lush green and forms a harmonious frame around the still water. A feeling of peace and tranquillity pervades the landscape and is transmitted to everyone who looks at this picture. The moment seems frozen in time, a moment of pure beauty and harmony in the midst of nature.
