About ‘Between emerald waves and stormy thoughts’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

In front of the dark silhouettes of distant islands, amidst turquoise-green waves, a wooden boat rocks - calm yet lively. It bears the name "Chanavip 7", wrapped in the scent of salt water and stories carried by the wind. Above it, Thai flags flutter in the wind, proud and gentle at the same time - a greeting to the sky and the sea.
The storm on the horizon announces itself like a melancholy song, while the light dances over the water. The sun breaks through the threatening grey for a moment, kisses the waves and makes them shine like liquid emerald. Koh Ngai reveals itself here in all its poetry - untamed, romantic, enchanted.
The boat is not just a means of transport, but a witness to time. It bears traces of days gone by, salt crusts on wood, memories of fishing villages, of travellers in love, of the silence between the islands. It seems as if it carries not only people but also longings across the sea.
A moment like a painting - nature paints with wind and water, light and shadow. And in the middle of it all, this boat, a silent hero on the waves of Koh Ngai.
