Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Storm light at IJmuiden's North Pier’ by Leon Brouwer

The red lighthouse on IJmuiden's North Pier stands unyielding in a raging sea as powerful waves crash against the back of the pier.

The red flag 🚩 fluttered on the South Pier and the waves even beat over the pier-a clear sign of the stormy conditions. A faint rainbow appeared under a heavy, threatening sky, like a brief moment of contrast and calm in the violence of wind and water.

The light towers at the ends of the piers play a crucial role for shipping: even in the dark and in fog, they mark the heads of the piers. Thanks to solar panels, batteries and a generator, the lights operate completely autonomously, while the fog lights continue to make their warning rotation-no matter the weather or visibility.
