Tips for use

About ‘Ropes on sailing ship S/V Noorderlicht’ by Martijn Smeets

Not an unusual sight aboard sailing ship S/V Northern Lights. The two-master has been sailing in the Barents Sea and around Spitsbergen (Svalbard, Norway) since 1994, often in winter conditions with lots of snow and ice.

The photo shows the snowy ship ropes aboard the yellow sailing ship.
