The Oude Hof was built in 1643 by order of Anthonis Studler van Zurck, a broker in shares of the Dutch East India Company. It consists of a square section with house and a rectangular section, which was once intended for hunting. The asymmetrical location on the rectangular circumference of the canal can be explained by the fact that the second building house has disappeared.
