The idea Vienna Wildlife was born and brought to life in 2009 by Karl Leitner.

Karl Leitner is a lecturer at the Artistic Adult Education Center and worked as a freelance press photographer & photo designer for APA picturedesk and almost all Austrian media.

Numerous, also international publications (Der Standard, Krone Bunt...) about his initiated heart project Vienna Wildlife have appeared. His hamster photos went around the world to Japan, China etc..…
