Hanseatic City of Lübeck !
The city of Lübeck , which belongs to the Unesco - World Heritage , is worth seeing and a tourist magnet .
The old town center surrounded by the Trave , is also called the old town - island . With the Traveschiffen can be explored the city, over the channels and canals, quite well.
The old town houses , with the beautiful stepped gables were partly , after the 2nd World War rebuilt .
Lübeck with its churches, is also famous as a city of 7 towers.
The double spires of the Marienkirche can be seen in the picture. Also the museum harbor , with the attractive sailing ships , as well as the old , worthy city gate , the famous Holsten Gate , with the brick Trave Bridge , is in the back of the picture .
A famous son of the city of Lübeck is Thomas Mann .
The birthplace is located only a short distance from the Marienkirche .
My home is the sea ........
