The rower on his way to the Europoort across the New Waterway.
Always underway always almost always big bow waves and a churning trail of propeller water. The rowers here on the Nieuwe Waterweg on a late evening in the sunset. The Rozenburg peninsula in the background and the golden light of the setting sun. The action frozen in the photo.
The ships in the harbor of all shapes and sizes and the people working in them. It remains an inspiring world in itself. And I continue to capture the harbor with the camera.
Raw and the port as it is, the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is a different world. The landscape of the harbor is always changing. The ships, the people and the landscape continue to fascinate me.
