About "Sunset North Sea Coast Seaside Netherlands Gold Blue 16-9"

About the artwork

The colors in this one are what caught me first—the gold from the setting sun stretching across the wet sand, mingling with the cooler blues and grays of the sea foam and sky. There’s something quiet about the moment, even though you can tell the wind is probably strong and the tide is pulling in. The foam scattered along the beach adds a bit of texture and motion, like the sea has left behind fragments of its breath.

Compositionally, I like how the horizon sits low enough to let the sky do most of the talking. The cloud layers create a gentle gradient from warmth to coolness, and the ships along the horizon form a subtle, almost rhythmic detail that you only notice after a second glance.

I remember how cold the sand felt underfoot while shooting this—one of those evenings where your hands start to stiffen on the camera. But standing there, alone with the rhythm of the waves and that golden light—it felt like a moment worth keeping.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
