Nestled in the jungle near Thakhek, the Tham Nong Pa Fa cave seems to be hidden in the landscape. A wooden pirogue rests quietly on the greenish water covered with water lilies, in front of a dark opening in the limestone rock. This mysterious entrance leads to a hidden sanctuary, discovered in 2004, containing more than 200 bronze Buddha statues. Surrounded by lush vegetation and marked by hanging prayer flags, the scene evokes a spiritual and almost magical atmosphere. It is a place where silence reigns, inviting contemplation, inner discovery and wonder.
Passionate about photography, I travel the world in search of the most beautiful shots.
