About the artwork

A proud Scottish Highlander stands in the middle of the Hijkerveld in Drenthe, surrounded by the warm golden brown grass of the heathland. The low winter sun puts a soft glow over his shaggy coat and the long, graceful horns subtly catch the light. The beautiful Dutch sky is grey-blue with light clouds - a typical Drenthe day when nature shows its silent power.

This robust appearance embodies the tranquillity and purity of the Drentse landscape. The highlander stands calmly in the grass and heather. It is an image that radiates strength, but also harmony - the animal and its surroundings are one.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
