About "Ranking the stars"

About the artwork

This painting came about while I was quietly thinking under a starry sky. It shows a young girl, in nightwear, standing somewhere between dream and reality. Her tiny hands reach up a branch and arrange the stars in a perfect row among the soft clouds above a dark forest. She is like the master of the night sky, creating harmony in the sky.
I have tried to blend the emotional side of childlike innocence with the power of imagination in this work. The girl's action is both tender and monumental, creating a sense of reverence and wonder. It is as if we can shape the cosmos, even in our smallest actions. The forest below forms an earthy contrast to the celestial and the silhouette enhances the dreamy quality of her role.
The painting aims to evoke nostalgia and remind us of a time when we thought the impossible was possible, when our dreams were heavy enough to make stars move.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
