Palma Bucarelli (Rome, 16 March 1910 - Rome, 25 July 1998) was an Italian art critic, art historian and museologist. Her name is associated with the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, a museum of which she was historical director and superintendent from 1942 to 1975. She was a powerful promoter of abstraction and the informal and with this speech she led the National Gallery of Modern Art. Alberto Savinio (Athens, 25 August 1891 - Florence, 5 May 1952) was an Italian artist. After studying at the Athens Conservatory, Alberto Savinio left for Munich to continue his music studies. In 1910, Alberto Savinio settled in Paris. After 1930, he was active as a painter and writer.
