About "Palace of the Doges"

About the artwork

In this night shot, the Doge's Palace shows itself at its very best: stately, refined and almost fairytale-like. The geometric patterns of the Gothic façade softly light up in the warm glow of the lamps, while the rest of St Mark's Square is shrouded in serene calm. The sky moves like a silken canvas through the long shutter speed, creating a sense of timelessness - as if Venice is momentarily holding its breath.

The elegance of the arcades, the rhythmic repetition of arches and windows and the warm glow behind the windows give the palace an almost living presence. The reflections on the damp stone floor enhance the magic of the scene: it seems as if the city is breathing out light after a day full of tourist crowds.

This photo captures not only the architectural splendour of the Doge's Palace, but also the soul of Venice after sunset - mysterious, stately and full of stories.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
