About the artwork

The Mercedes - Benz 710 from 1930 is one of the most famous super-sedans ever made. It was the second car produced by Benz, following the company's previous model, the Mercedes Sixt, which was destroyed in an air attack during World War I. This second model was an instant hit and Mercedes quickly became the brand of choice for luxury-car owners all over the world. Its success led to a number of Mercedes - Benz models being designed, but the'Rolls Royce' name never left the air as it was a direct result of the war. The cars changed slightly, but the engine stayed the same and the rest is history.

Production on the Mercedes - Benz 710 Super Sport was stepped up during the war, with Mercedes receiving requests for modifications and upgrades from the military and police forces. Car producers were aware that war was about to break out and that they needed to be prepared. This is why Mercedes started building war cars before the war even started, such as the Mercedes - Benz 3.5 Convertible, which helped the war effort immensely. Other modified cars like the Mercedes - Benz 710s Hummer, which were used by the British military, and the Mercedes - Benz 710 Silver Arrow, which saw action in the Pacific, also had a strong impact on the production of Mercedes cars.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
