About "Málaga Cathedral 'La Manquita' | Spain | black-and-white photography"

About the artwork

Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga is one of the most impressive cathedrals I have ever been to. It is so big and has so many details that you won't get bored easily. The church has different architectural styles such as Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance and its many chapels are full of the finest art, the most famous painting of which is 'the beheading of Saint Paul' painted by Enrique Simonet.

This photo shows the cathedral's main altar in its entirety. I had to take several photos'and merge them later during post-processing because I could not get the whole thing in one shot with my 35 mm lens. That way, I got a beautifully detailed photo.

I chose black and white because the contrasts are even greater than in the coloured version. And because of the absence of colour, one is less concerned with the details of the ceiling and columns.

Malaga cathedral is also affectionately called "La Manquita" which means "the one-armed woman". It owes this name to the tower that was never finished.

I enjoyed Malaga and the Catedral de la Encarnación, it is a wonderful place for photographers who love travel photography.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
