About the artwork

In the golden autumn of Lapland, when birch forests glow in bright shades of yellow and red, Abisko is a sight of overwhelming beauty. The Aurora Borealis dances across the clear night sky in intense shades of green and purple above the striking Lapporten valley - known as Čuonjávággi in Sami. Lake Torneträsk lies still and reflects the shimmering light of the northern lights, a magical moment in the midst of the autumnal silence of Lapland.

Autumn in Abisko is a time of transition: the days are shorter, the air is clearer and the landscape is transformed into a colourful mosaic of gold and red. At this special time of year, before winter covers the north in snow, the aurora unfolds over a world full of colours and contrasts.

This motif captures the magic of a rare moment - the combination of earth, light and sky, of movement and tranquillity. A symbol of the quiet power and poetic beauty of Nordic nature.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
