About the artwork

The ruins of the former church of St Dunstan-in-the-East surprise visitors in the middle of the hustle and bustle of London City.
All that remains are the walls, some of which are densely overgrown with vines and climbing plants.

This also applies to the entrance area, which can be seen in the picture. You can still clearly see the stairs and the entrance, but as soon as you go inside, you are back out in the open. It is an impressive testimony to earlier times:

The church was once built in the 13th century and was considered one of the largest churches in London.
Restored several times, only the tower has "survived" to this day. The rest of the church and the churchyard are now a popular place to relax, as the square serves as a public garden/park.

The dense plants in the entrance area are particularly beautiful and continue to overgrow the ruins, making it a magical and mystical place that is definitely worth a visit.

The motif is calm and at the same time an eye-catcher in any room. It combines history, architecture and nature.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
