This spot didn’t catch my eye because of any grand landmark—it was the texture that got me. I was walking along a quiet path when the ploughed earth in the foreground stopped me. It had this dry, fractured look, almost like a relief map. The frame felt heavier at the bottom, so I used that mass to anchor the composition. The midground hills rolled gently upward, with that warm Tuscan glow catching just enough of the contours to bring them to life. I didn’t need dramatic light here—just clarity and space. The distant homes and cypress trees balanced the openness with something human, without stealing the scene. What I liked most was the simplicity: no big skies, no vivid colors screaming for attention, just soft browns and earthy tones leading into blues. The sky added a quiet rhythm with its small scattered clouds, like punctuation marks on a page. I shot this fairly wide to let the landscape breathe, giving the viewer room to take it in the same way I did—slowly and quietly.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
