About the artwork

What an impressive sight it remains, every time. The Emirates A380, the largest passenger plane in the world, taking off from Schiphol Airport, with the airport buildings and control towers as a backdrop in the distance. When I took this picture, I felt that typical moment of wonder: so much power, such a huge aircraft, and yet that elegant lift-off. The double decks, the four engines and the iconic red and white Emirates logo make this aircraft instantly recognisable. Despite its size, the A380 takes off surprisingly smoothly, and the sight of the buildings in the background only emphasises how imposing this aircraft is. For me as an aviation photographer, this is a dream image, everything is right, from light and composition to subject. For me, the Emirates A380 remains one of the most beautiful and photogenic aircraft ever.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
