The bottom of the Öxararfoss in the national park Þingvellir in South Iceland. The clear water sometimes turns blue, sometimes green. The ax waterfall was probably diverted by the Vikings to ensure sufficient drinking water during the Alþing that were held annually in Þingvellir.
