About the artwork

A moment of simplicity and purity in Marrakech's ancient Kasbah district - once a fortified citadel and the political heart of the city. Located in the south of the medina, this historic neighbourhood is home to royal legacies, with icons such as the Saadite tombs and the ruins of El Badi Palace.

Against this rich historical backdrop, an everyday scene plays out: two boys, unaware of the camera, play against the warm, weathered walls of the neighbourhood. The natural earth tones of the loam - with soft shades of terracotta, powder pink and weathered ochre - reflect the soul of a city where past and everyday life blend seamlessly.

The combination of sand-coloured textures, ornate street lamps and the lively energy of children forms a timeless image that invites to look as well as dream. The hazy foreground enhances the sense of distance and observation - as if peering through an old city gate, such as the imposing Bab Agnaou, at this quiet moment.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
