Penguin spotting at Boulders

Located between Cape Point and Simonstown, Boulders is best known for its large colony of African penguins. These droll animals have been stealing the show for years and attracting crowds. You can watch them from boardwalks in the small national park.
The African penguin is on the red list but has a good home in Boulders. From near extinction to a flourishing number of breeding pairs. During our visit, there is busy flocking so the colony is bound to grow a bit bigger again.

It is busy here during the day but when the last day-trippers have left, it is quiet and there are only the guests of our hotel at Boulders Beach. We still hear the Penguins calling regularly and sometimes see them scurrying around the car park. So special that we can spend the night here.

This mischievous penguin came waddling along nicely and I was immediately reminded of the film Happy Feet. What a cutie.

Also beautiful in combination with Happy feet Penguin 2.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
