About the artwork

Harley Davidson, who is not familiar with the iconic motorbike brand from America. It is the brand that captures the imagination of bikers and non-bikers alike. A big V-shaped two-cylinder, a big saddle, a windshield and preferably lots of chrome. According to many non-bikers, a Harley Davidson is a dream motorbike. Not everyone thought so. Erik Buell was someone. Erik Buell thought the traditional Harley Davidson didn't have enough punch apparently because he came up with his own model. A sportier model powered by Harley Davidson's famous V-twin. However, the engine is the only thing you can recognise the motorbike by as everything else is different. There are enthusiastic Buell owners all over the world. The Netherlands, too, has a collection of happy Buell owners. Happy Buell owners who organise a meeting once a year where everyone gets together to admire each other's bikes.
