This charming photographic image was taken during my photo and holiday trip to the east coast of Sicily in summer 2015.
The architectural image was taken on 12 July 2015 in the evening hours with the camera
NIKON D90.
I discovered this charming motif of a dilapidated, abandoned house facade of an old villa with crumbling plaster and washed-out colours in the picturesque tourist stronghold of Taormina, the so-called pearl of Sicily's east coast.
A visit to the enchanting town of Taormina is a worthwhile holiday and excursion destination at any time of year. The picturesque little town impresses with its marvellous architectural features, a high gastronomic culture and highly recommended cafés and bars. There is also a far-reaching view of the unique bay with a view of the active volcano Etna with its perpetual smoke and fire.
