In the work and miniature world 'BAKEN IN THE DISTRIBUTED LAND' I allow worlds to converge and flow in a collage. On the one hand, through the art forms used such as watercolour, photography and digital technology; on the other, there are the worlds, skies, skies and seas that have crossed and passed in all possible forms, emotional, spiritual and physical. Yet again and again, the big comes together and spills over into the precious because fragile small as just that colour, that incidence of light, depth or shape in which circles may again become round. Here again, inaudibly silent, private worlds are hidden behind the visible, seemingly mundane.
And whoever looks and listens attentively hears and sees the soft depth in the echo of the silence of the drowned land: in the shades of black, white and grey lurks melancholy, hope and longing for that other time and place.
