About "A Radiant view of the Parthenon"

About the artwork

The sun's rays shine between the columns of the majestic Parthenon in Athens, giving the ancient Greek monument an enchanting appearance. The columns of the Parthenon, each with its own unique sculpted capital, stand majestically and gracefully in the warm sunlight. The contrast between the clear blue sky and the warm hues of the ancient marble columns and walls is breathtaking. Built in the 5th century BC in honour of the Greek goddess Athena, the Parthenon was once the centre of Greek civilisation and is now known as one of the most impressive examples of classical antiquity. The sun shining through the columns of the Parthenon seems to symbolise the essence of Greek culture and its pursuit of knowledge and beauty. A visit to the Acropolis had been on my wish list for a long time and in December 2022, on one of the last days of the old year, I stood there. It is an absolutely magical place and was immensely pleased with the beautiful light at the end of the afternoon.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
