The digital artwork shows a serene scene under a brilliant blue sky, completely cloudless and clear. At its centre is "Molenstein", a building that now serves as a residence but clearly betrays its origins as a church. The facade bears traces of a religious past, with elements recalling Gothic architecture. The eye is immediately drawn to the small tower at the front, in which the front door is built. The door is halfway up a partly invisible staircase, partially blocked by a large flowering shrub. This shrub, rich in colour and volume, contrasts vividly with the light tones of the gravel path stretching in front of the house.
Above the door rises a balcony that gives the tower its own character, while pointed arch windows emphasise the Gothic atmosphere. To the right of the tower, the house proper unfolds, marked by a robust stepped gable that accentuates the height and history of the property. The facade exudes transience, in harmony with the historic character. To the left of the house is a simple metal gate, suggesting access to a garden or backyard. Behind the fence, trees rise up, their crests forming against the blue sky, creating a natural frame for the building.
The whole breathes peace and quiet, as if time has stood still for a moment here. The artwork captures a moment of hushed beauty, in which past and present merge seamlessly.
